If you are a Democrat in a Republican-majority state, the biggest impact you can have on democracy this year is to vote in the Republican Congressional primaries (yes, it is allowed!). This will allow your state to elect fair-minded Republicans over MAGA extremists. Democrats in Red states are outnumbered in the general election, meaning that a Republican will be elected to office. But which Republican should it be? In the primaries, you can join with moderate Republicans to stop MAGA-Trumpers from getting to the general election in November.
How to do it
Use this website to learn if your state and your district have extremist representatives in Congress who are vulnerable in the Republican primary. Then learn about their moderate challengers, and vote for the top moderate. Best of all, you don’t have to switch parties. With extremists out of Congress, politics can start working again for America.
